What happens when I forward an email?

MailToBills checks that it comes from your trusted email address, stores the PDF attachments, and files everything into the Collection Month it arrives in. One forwarded email becomes one document row on your dashboard.

What does my accountant actually receive?

A single ZIP per month containing the primary PDF of every collected document, plus a CSV manifest listing sender, subject, received date, and filename. No logins, no new tools on their side.

My Portuguese suppliers already report to e-Fatura. Why do I need this?

e-Fatura only sees suppliers with a Portuguese NIF — your foreign and SaaS invoices (Google, OpenAI, Adobe, AWS, Figma…) never appear there. And accountants still want the actual PDFs, not just line items. MailToBills collects exactly the documents e-Fatura misses.

Who can send documents to my collection address?

Only you. Forwards are accepted exclusively from the trusted email addresses on your account, so spam and strangers never reach your collection.

Which file types are supported?

PDF attachments. That covers the overwhelming majority of invoices, receipts, bills, and faturas sent by suppliers today. Emails without an acceptable PDF are not collected.

Does my accountant need to sign up?

No. Accountants receive the export by email or from you directly — there is nothing for them to adopt, install, or log into. Clean handovers with zero friction on their side.
